Design Review

At CES, our design review process is a meticulous journey from blueprint to perfection. Once a contract is signed, our expert team delves deep into the design documents presented by OEMs.

The process commences with Document Collection. We methodically gather all design artifacts, ranging from intricate technical drawings and specifications to detailed calculation sheets and other materials furnished by the OEM. This extensive compilation forms the foundation for our subsequent evaluations.

Upon this foundation, our experts conduct an Initial Assessment. Through these preliminary evaluations, we ensure that every aspect of the design submissions is in strict alignment with the contractual prerequisites, ensuring no oversight is left unaddressed.

The heart of our review process lies in our Detailed Analysis:

Structural Analysis:
We undertake an exhaustive review of the design's structural facets. Simulating diverse operational scenarios and environmental challenges, we ensure the design's resilience and robustness are unmatched.
Electrical Analysis:
We scrutinize wiring blueprints, circuit configurations, component specifics, and essential safety measures. By adhering to top-tier international electrical protocols, we guarantee terminal infrastructure compatibility and safety.
Interface Design Review:
A system's effectiveness often hinges on its interfaces. We assess the user interface, machine interface, and software integrations. This ensures not only ease of use but also maximizes operational efficiency and minimizes potential errors or miscommunications.
Quay Interface Analysis:
We ensure that the equipment's design seamlessly integrates with quay structures. By focusing on load transfer dynamics, we mitigate risks of structural damages, ensuring longevity for both the equipment and the dock.
Mechanical Analysis:
Our team meticulously examines all mechanical elements, including moving parts, assembly points, load-bearing structures, and potential wear zones. The objective? Guarantying unparalleled durability and functional efficiency.
Automation Review:
Automation is the future, and we recognize its criticality in container terminal equipment. Our experts evaluate the design's automation components, ensuring seamless integration, optimal performance, and future scalability. We review automation logic, sensor placements, software interfaces, and fail-safe mechanisms to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
Sea Fastening & Unloading:
Our experts evaluate provisions made for maritime transportation. From assessing the robustness of fastening mechanisms that safeguard equipment during transit to ensuring streamlined procedures for damage-free unloading at the destination – we leave no stone unturned.

Regular collaborative meetings with the OEMs foster a dynamic feedback loop, ensuring designs are iteratively refined. We often employ advanced simulations or even physical prototypes for critical components, ensuring the design’s practical viability. Potential risks, whether operational, safety-related, or maintenance-centric, are identified and mitigated early on.

Our approach is not just about technical precision. We actively engage with end-users and maintenance teams, including their on-ground insights into our reviews. Post rigorous evaluations and iterations, designs are greenlit for production, with every step documented meticulously for future reference.

At CES, our design review process embodies our commitment to precision, ensuring that every equipment design is prepared to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
